Program offered by Haribhai V. Desai College in collaboration with, Asia’s first and best event management institute, NIEM The Institute of Event Management – A Vision Crafted by Dr. Hoshi Bhiwandiwalla and affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.
This unique industry-oriented degree combines the strong foundation of Commerce with the creativity, excitement, and practical exposure of the Event Management Industry. Designed for aspiring event professionals, the program prepares students for successful careers in events, weddings, entertainment, media, exhibitions, sports, hospitality, and live experiences.
With the expertise of NIEM, students gain hands-on experience through live national and international events including award shows, sports leagues, festivals, fashion events, and corporate activations, helping them become industry-ready professionals.

Eligibility:
- Students who have successfully completed 12th Standard (Any Stream) from a recognized board are eligible to apply.
Duration:
- 3 Years: B. Com. (Event Management)
- 4 Years: B. Com. (Event Management) Honors

Dr. Manoj Laxmichand Vora is a distinguished academic leader with a global perspective. Having served as an International Faculty member at MIE-SPPU Qatar, he brings world-class pedagogical standards to the B.Com Event Management program at Haribhai V. Desai College.
A specialist in Banking and Finance (PhD), Dr. Vora is recognized for his administrative resilience. Notably, he coordinated the SPPU University Examinations during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring academic continuity through one of the most challenging periods in education history.
His teaching style is built on activity-based learning, bridging the gap between traditional finance and the rapid technological disruptions of the modern Fintech era.
